Veterans Day Parade
Fort Worth Texas
November 11, 2022
These are only pictures of entries directly connected with our Legion Family Members. Participants also included many other VSO's, military and others, including a Marine Flyover in a break in the rain.
This is just a random mix of pictures from about 12 different folks that shared their pictures with us so far. Several duplicates but I did not sort or select. Every picture includes at least one American Legion Texas Twelfth District Family Member and most have several of our folks.
Many more of our members were busy with their volunteer duties in the area, along the route or cheering us on along Forest Park Blvd.
After participating in the Veterans Day Parade in Fort Worth (in the rain) participants from the Army, Texas Army National Guard and Texas Guard all enjoyed lunch hosted by South Fort Worth American Legion Post 569. Guests included the 1st Cavalry Division, Horse Cavalry Detachment (active duty Army) from Fort Hood, the 36th Infantry Division Band (Texas Army National Guard) from Camp Mabry, LTC Richard Crossley, Jr. USA (ret), Director FWISD JROTC Programs and the parade Grand Marshal MG Anthony Woods, Commanding General of the Texas State Guard, leader of the premier state guard force in the nation.
