Congratulations to all of our new officers and God Bless our Country.
We would like to thank Herb and Marion O'Dell. Mr. O'Dell has proudly served our country and the American Legion for more than sixty one (61) years and they have been installing officers at Post 655 for at least eight (8) years.
The newly elected incoming Auxiliary President Jeane Gori presented officers with a framed copy of their "duties" and an assortment of gifts to fulfill their missions (i.e. the Treasurer, Diane Cook, received a huge calculator; the Secretary, Sherri Miller, received paper and pencils; the Sergeant at Arms, Rita Montana, received a framed key; the 1st Vice, Past Unit President, "Cat" Jones received a pair of flip flops, a shot glass w/feet). Mary Johnson, Chaplain, received a book of prayers and a new coffee cup. The BIG prize of course goes to the Unit President, Jeane Gori, who received the gavel used by Past President MaryRuth Ormsbee.
Congratulations to Commander Don Kobe and the new Legion Officers, Christopher Koopmans, Frank Perry, Chaplain; Donald Souvannachak, Sergeant at Arms; Michael Gori; Rich Haas. We are proud to serve with you all.
