From: Mary Johnson What a great day! Great turnout by the American Legion Riders, Post 655 and Auxiliary. We all met at the Green Valley Nursing Home, 6850 Rufe Snow, at 9:30 AM and broke into groups of 3 and 4 to visit with our veterans.

Enlarge picture Well, if you have NOT been to a nursing home lately (or in my case) EVER. You really should add this to your list of things you MUST DO. I joined up with the American Legion Riders at Post 655 this morning and went to visit with some of our veterans at the Green Valley Nursing home. They are wonderful and if you could meet them and their widows you would know what a sacrifice so many have made for our country. Thanks to the great caregivers at Green Valley Healthcare & Rehabilitation for such great care. Without exception all of the veterans we talked to today had no need or want for anything.
