The Massing of the Colors is a Patriotic Ceremony demonstrating support for the Colors of the United States of America, and for the men and women of our uniformed services. Active and Reserve military units, ROTC, JROTC, Middle School Junior Cadet Corps, Veterans' organizations and other civic and patriotic organizations including Boy and Girl Scouts participate by presenting the colors of their organization.

Many, if not most of the folks with the other veterans and civic organizations pictured are also Legion family members.
