District 12 Memorial Day Activities

Outstanding dedication ceremony at this new FOREST HILL MEMORIAL PARK
Attendees included a Tuskegee Airman, an ex Prisoner of War, Congressman Marc Veasey, many members of the American Legion, VFW and Military Order of the Purple Heart.

On the evening of Friday, May 24th, members of Post and Auxiliary Unit 626 posted American flags at the east entrance of Mt. Olivet Cemetery and on Doughboy Island. We retrieved the flags at the end of the Memorial Day Ceremony held at Doughboy Island on Memorial Day evening. This pictures was taken on May 24th.
