Our “Hub” system is a Legion Family affair that includes all Auxiliary, SAL and Veteran members.

In addition to Post Commanders, Adjutants and Hubmasters, I encourage all Presidents, SAL Commanders, Rider Directors and other key personnel to be on the distribution (limit 10 emails listings per post please). Post Hubmasters (and others) can then pass on items of interest to get the word out.
I send out a newsletter type email with “District 12 Update” in the subject line. It is sent from a district twelve email address (please save it to your address list). Except in cases of urgency (member in distress, etc.), I normally send out no more than one a week. I send it mid week so it can be a reminder of events for the coming weekend. All distributions are “blind copied” so no email addressed will be disclosed for your privacy.
I am happy to list any events you are planning at your post so others will know about it (and hopefully participate). If you have a flyer or poster, please attach it (or a link) so all the details are covered. If you get pictures at the event I can put them in our scrapbook or link your Facebook (or other) scrapbook page to our district scrapbook. We need to share the exciting things we do with friends and new or potential members.
